Low-cost airline Ryanair has announced that up to 50 flights each day will be cancelled until the end of October, sparking travel chaos across Europe!In total, 2,000 flights across Europe and around 400,000 passengers will be affected.
The airline has released a list of cancellations between September 18th-28th, which it says amount to around 2% of the total number of scheduled flights.We apologize to all affected customers for these cancellations,” the airline wrote in a statement on Facebook. We have messed up in the planning of pilot holidays and we’re working hard to fix that.”
Ryanair is allowing customers with cancelled flights to apply for a full refund or change their flight for free. The slew of sudden cancellations comes after the company changed the time-frame of its yearly holiday calendar.
