An earthquake measuring 4.2 on Richter scale rattled the Greek capital Athens City at 9:26 on Tuesday morning (27th August 2019.

The earthquake occurred 26 km North-West of Athens in Magoula in a depth of 10km.
No injuries or material damage were reported.
The tremor was largely felt due to its low depth. According to seismologists the earthquake was an aftershock of the one that stroke Athens with 5.3 R on July.
