Mini heat-wave hits Greece and the Greek Islands in September as tourism still blooms

Occupancy levels for September and October continue to reach even 90% in popular travel destinations across Greece and Greek Islands.September in Greece is always full of sunshine and for those who are still making their way across the Greek islands, enjoying swims at the beach will need to be prepared for a hot one today as temperatures are set to rise to 38°C.
Areas chiefly affected by the mini heat wave are: Central Macedonia, Thessaly, Sporades islands, islands of northern Aegean Sea, central and east Peloponnese and Crete.
At the same time, occupancy levels for September and October continue to reach even 90% in popular destinations in Greece such as Crete, Rhodes and Halkidiki since German, British, Russian, French and Dutch tourists elect to travel in the fall.
