Massive 6.7 quake strikes near Samos Island – buildings collapse in Turkey.

The earthquake struck just off the coast of western Turkey on the Greek island of Samos in the eastern Aegean Sea, 11 miles off the coast of Izmir (1.51 pm local time).
The Deputy Mayor of Eastern Samos said multiple buildings had collapsed in the area according to local news outlets. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the tremor was felt as far away as Athens and Istanbul.
While Twitter users posted footage reportedly showing buildings collapsing in the Turkish city of Izmir. There are not yet details on reports of injuries or casualties.
